« Au milieu » is a project aimed at creating a culinary link between the countries of the Mediterranean basin. This project is divided into several stages. The first was a period of research on the origins, links, influences, etymology ... of Mediterranean dishes. The second was the creation of a map bringing together all this information (showing that often the dishes did not come just from one country, but from different regions). The last was the design of plates for a Mediterranean restaurant. These plates were made of concrete, a material symbolizing the link between different countries, regions and Mediterranean dishes.
